Translation of the book “The curved universe of Samuel Flores”

This book is the result of the collective work carried out by professors of the Institute of Architectural History of the School of Architecture, Design and Urbanism of the University of the Republic in Uruguay. An extensive catalog of 42 cases arranged in chronological order allows us to glimpse the first contours of an intellectual biography along with the main interpretative edges and archival references.

Plexo #regram is a publication that narrates, through a journey, the global experience of the architectural trip. It evokes, through texts and images, the curricular academic activities, the lectures given and the activities carried out before and during the trip. It also gathers the impressions of the travelers and opens a tunnel of communication between what was and what is to come.

Revision & Editing of "Frictions"

This series of chronicles intertwines the author’s personal experience —the frictions, impacts and encounters that crossed him— with the cultural and political dimension of the cities explored in the architecture trip, an academic journey consolidated in the training of Uruguayan architecture students since 1944. A trip around the world that offers insights into iconic buildings and major cities.
Interpretation of conference with Architect Nader Tehrani
On August 19, 2019, I had the honor to be the Interpreter in the conference “Conversations with History: Jefferson, Dieste, Lewerentz” by Architect Nader Tehrani. Held in the auditorium of the School of Architecture, UdelaR, the conference exposed part of his research and was framed within the open activities of the Master’s Degree in Parametric Design and Digital Fabrication (MDF).

The OEI-Mercosur Office in Uruguay disseminates this publication in the framework of the regional seminar Educational Environments Promoting Democratic Coexistence, organized jointly with the Council of Primary Education (CIEP) of the National Administration of Public Education (ANEP) in September 2018, Montevideo, Uruguay.
